Synnove Skjelten has lived in South Africa since the dawn of its democracy 21 years ago. Having been part of the democratic transition, Synnove has an in-depth understanding of South Africa – its strengths, challenges, opportunities and obstacles.
Synnove’s areas of expertise include constitution making, tourism, human rights, academia and communications strategies development.Her multi-disciplinary skills and experience have given her insights into the cross-cutting business environment of Cape Town and the world today.
She is also a published author – her works include – A people’s Constitution – public participation in the South African constitution making process. Synnove has the equivalent of a Bachelor Degree from the University of Oslo and a Master in Political Science from the University of Cape Town.
